My husband and I brought our one year old here to experience apple picking for the first time. He is a huge fan of apples and we were so excited to get to do this. It was hard finding orchards that weren’t sold out already of apples. Thankfully I found peacefield orchards website and the owner was very easy to communicate with. We got a reservation and were there for about an hour and a half. It’s more of an intimate experience which we loved especially with our little one. You aren’t charged an Entrance or a parking fee. Just priced per bag. Ken took the time to explain about different apples & I even learned some new things that I found to be helpful. We were able to get about 13 apples, which is great for us! We went in knowing crops were small this year so we weren’t disappointed at all. We would visit again and we recommend it.

The apple selection was bountiful and the overall landscape was warmly autumnal. On the low, the “new” owner made my friends and I (all women) pretty uncomfortable.

What a gem! Farmer Josh gave a wonderful tour. His passion for the orchard was evident and made my family smile. We loved learning about "good bugs" and how bakers and cider makers don't like the "prettiest" apples. My daughter loved tasting the carrots straight from the garden, and checking out the gorgeous roosters! I believe the cost is justified. So much heart and soul goes into running this farm. We will be back!

What a great apple picking experience for the whole family! Owners Bri and Josh grow their apples sustainably with lots of love and no chemicals. the apples were amazingly delicious. Admission included a fun tour by Bri who made us feel so welcome. The kids loved running through the orchard picking and tasting the different varieties. You have to make an appointment ahead of time and the price is higher than the mass orchards but the experience was more than worth it! Thanks Bri!

My wife and I stopped here during quick getaway weekend to celebrate our first anniversary. As soon as we parked, Bri was the first to greet us with a big smile. After we paid, we sat around just enjoying the great weather, and water from the farm's well. We had farmer Josh lead our tour and he was very informative and patiently answered every question from the adults on down to the little kids. During the tour, Josh showed us where he proposed to Bri, and where they will be having their wedding ceremony, which got a big "Awww" from the adults. I have to admit, Josh's enthusiasm for his work showed. My wife and I really enjoyed our experience and ate a bunch of delicious Jonagolds. I didn't think I'd like them as much as I did, but after taking the tour, I understand that the ones I had at the store may have looked pretty, but they weren't ripe, so didn't have as much flavor as a fresh picked one. We also sampled some Concord grapes, plums, and jellybean tomatoes. My wife normally doesn't like fresh tomatoes, but these blew her away! There were so sweet and flavorful. Hope this orchard prospers and Josh and Bri have a long, loving marriage!

Highway robbery! 5 dollars per person to get in, plus 15 dollars to fill a small bag of apples is, in my opinion, a large amount to spend on a place where you're only going to be for about 1/2 hour. They take advantage of the fact that they are the last remaining orchard to be open so late in the season and people are going to pay for the experience, even though the selection of apples is not worth 15 dollars. So next time, I will go down to the supermarket on the corner and get my organic apples for way cheaper.

The people are very nice and happy to help you out find out what exactly you are picking. No chemicals here, only naturally grown goods that are tasty!
