Beautiful and friendly volunteer run farm. Sustainable and incredibly productive (creates a lot of food for its small plot of land). Creates free, fresh food for the community. Highly recommend volunteering if you have the time, or picking up a 1/2 dozen of fresh eggs and fresh veggies if you need/want! Ideal community hub with fresh air and kind people.

this place is a wonderful Oasis in a food desert. So many beautiful specimens of plants, animals and people. Fig trees, blackberries, mulberries, jasonberries to name a few. Bring your food scraps to add to their cookin compost pile and sequester some carbon why don't yah.

The Bushwick City Farm is an inclusive community space. On weekends there are kids playing, chickens clucking, and volunteers planting seeds. The policy at BCF is "take what you need, give what you can." Unlike many other community agriculture spaces, BCF gives away all the food produced, for free, to the community. The eggs produced here, organically, are the best tasting eggs I've ever eaten.

Amazing people, healthy chickens, delicious herbs, hydroponic plants, more vegetables than I can count, a playground for the kids, and a solar-powered boombox—can't think of a better place be on a Saturday afternoon
