Vegan-friendly! We made a quick stop to grab a bottle of wine and something sweet, and OMG we’re surprised by vegan desserts which is RARE!!! They also have vegan lentil curry with coconut milk which is super delicious, our cashier told us. We haven’t had a chance to explore the store more but we will 10000000% back when in the area!

This is a real Independent natural food grocery store. It’s packed with fresh local organic specialty items. Very nice assortment of fresh fruits & veggies Grocery and produce. Great location to buy bulk items for huts, grains, spices, teas, coffee.

Nice helpful staff and smoothie and easy check out. Bring your own bags and get a token to donate to a cause as you leave.

I love this place. The staff are all very welcoming and down to earth. The Bakery can be dangerous 😋 I LOVE the coconut macaroons BUT recently discovered their Chocolate Muffin 😋😍 and wanted to find and hug the 👩‍🍳 Chef if I could lol. Definitely 5 Stars, I could go on and on about EVERY department, but I'd only be rambling.

Take some time to stop by, you will have a great experience as well. I PROMISE you, they have something for everyone ❣️

What I love about Staff of life is that it's a nice healthy extension of my home. Where I find everything healthy I need for my home, they have every product you can think of. And if you want to have a nice time, the outdoor cafe is another option in the market. And the most important thing is the store staff. Customer service is reflected with the human quality that Nina shows, always attentive and always with a smile, thank you very much for all the attention.

Hairlip Louie just had to come all the way down to Santa Cruz, and you know why....to get his board waxed!
The Lip asked me to come with him incase of trouble, and I agreed with one provision, that he buy lunch at the Staff of Life Restaurant, they make an amazing sandwich. Well, he pulled up in front of the Happy Time Massage Parlor, and that's when I realized he didn't even bring his surfboard, and he's getting something other than a surfboard waxed. I had a good laugh because 7 minutes later we were on our way to the Staff of Life for some amazing sandwiches. ☆☆☆☆☆
