I wandered into this store while my snow tires were being changed out at Alaska Tire and Rim right there on Dowling. I was pleased that the produce was so diverse and fresh. Even though it was a little more than the grocery store, I knew I was getting a lot higher quality! All the staff was friendly and helpful.

New place in town! Friendly grocery environment with great variety of fruits and vegetables. Love the fact that they’re working with local farms and sourcing some exotic tropical fruits. You can find fruits like dragon fruits and papaya here.

They also sell fresh squeezed juices here (didn’t have a chance to try it yet)

Will be back! Fruits and vege looks really fresh!

Great little produce store off Huffman. The store features mostly Alaskan made goods - unsure if all produce is Alaskan grown. Wonderful atmosphere and terrific customer service.

Very careless and reckless delivery driver speeding down an alleyway no consideration for pedestrians distracted driver shamelessly. I called to inform them and it was like I annoyed their day just to let them know this safety concern

I just discovered Johnny's this last week and I will definitely be going back. Cute shop, great prices and wonderful produce. I haven't found pears or mandarin oranges like look and taste like that in Alaska. They are so delicious. The customer service was also excellent. Overall very impressed by my experience and I will be back.

Favorite little neighborhood gem. I come here with my 5 year old for stress free veggie shopping and to treat ourselves with a delicious hot cocoa from That Feeling Co next door. Staff is always super sweet and it’s a highlight of my day to come here.
