Awesome place to go horseback trail riding. They can accommodate small private rides or large groups. Horses are well taken care of, very easy to ride, and trail guides are experienced and personable. The trails are amazing. Ask when booking if you can for the million dollar horseback riding view AKA Butchers Hill. It is the 1 hour or 1.5 hr ride and the view is of the SP port, Torrance, Torrance airport and the ocean. Truly an amazing experience.

Emily, our guide, was super sweet and really taught us how to control our horses. We went on the 45 min trail, but our trail was abt 1-1.5 hours. Really worth it. Great experience to have! I love my horse Goose 🤍

Emily & Jody were great tour guides! They kindly helped explain how to guide the horses before and on the trail. The horses themselves were great and so well mannered! I went in a group of six and each one of us received great attention from Emily and Jody. Overall 5 out of 5 start experience. Horses, guides, and views were awesome!! I would definitely go back!

Horrible, please never go here. Me and my mother booked an hour and a half trail ride for 10 am. We arrived on the dot then waited 20 minutes or so for a guide to come back from a previous trail ride. There were six or so horses stuck in a garage sized pen. It was rustic and the horses looked like they haven’t been fed or groomed as I could see their ribs. When our guide had finally got back with around 6 other people, she didn’t care to untack the 4 other horses. It was just me and my mother. On the trail ride, our guide told us in the first half of the day, six horses are used for trail rides constantly. The second half of the day, the other six. She kept telling me to kick my horse as hard as I could to get him to pick up a trot. I simply squeezed my legs together and he started to trot. I felt so bad. These horses get no turnout, have unfitted tack, aren’t well cared for in general and are overworked. Supposedly a few of the horses are over twenty years old and should be retired. Especially in the state they’re in.

Fantastic experience! I previously rode English while my partner had never ridden a horse - Tad did an amazing job explaining it to him and may have even helped convince him to eventually get a horse. 😏
Both of our horses, Rex and Ben, were lovely and matched our skill levels perfectly.
10/10 recommend as this was a beautiful experience!

Absolutely the worst horse riding experience EVER! The guide/stablehand had a real disdain of the horses, the customers, and his job. He yelled at customers throughout the ride to "kick the horses really hard" so they would keep up. Seems to have zero regard to customers' safety as we don't know how the horse would react to kicking them really hard. He kept cursing at the horses and threatened violence when they "misbehave". The trail was in really dangerous and rough condition. At one point there were low vines, and the guide gave no warning (he walked the entire ride, did not ride on horseback), 2 riders in my groups got strangled really badly (choked and visible marks on their necks), and another customer fell off the horse. The guide yelled at customers the entire time as if we did something wrong. Didn't bother to wait for the back of the group to catch up. This was a very unique experience in that I'm simultaneously scared for my life, felt bad for the horses, and absolutely hated our guide. After this experience, I'm done riding for a while, and definitely not coming back to this place. The owner either didn't care or is just a horrible human being.
