Decent restaurant option located in the Stanford Shopping Center. A lot of vegan and vegetarian choices, as well as seafood and meat options for the carnivores. Edamame dumplings were a highlight. Fast and friendly staff. Large free parking lot.

Amazing food made with healthy ingredients. Thrilled to see they are removing all seed oils from their kitchen and already have removed most.
Lots of gluten free and vegan options that are delicious. I had GF air fried chicken tenders! What a treat. Most of the desserts are GF and sound incredible. Would have tried if I wasn't stuffed already. Next time. Highly recommend.

I had high expectations for this place, but my experience was quite disappointing. The order took 40 minutes to arrive, which was already off-putting.

The vegan burger was incredibly dry, making it difficult to swallow. There was no plant-based cheese or sauce included. After requesting some, they offered vegan mayo, which was far from adequate for a $20 burger. I won’t be ordering this again.

I had also asked for a side of potatoes, which looked tempting, but they were extremely dry as well.

The margarita pizza lacked any significant flavor.

Our bill totaled around $65 for two people, and the overall experience was far from satisfactory. I’m not sure what the hype is about.

It was not busy period, but it takes much long time to get served. Hamburger tastes better than expected. Really like kale salad

The place is nice but the vegan food is a culinary disaster. I tried the Mediterranean Hummus and the Roasted Brussel Sprouts, I didn't even manage to finish them.

The hummus was all but Mediterranean. It came with two additional pesto on top. On of them was very spicy, it only managed to ruin a simple and perfect dish which should be only made of chickpeas, water, salt, lemon, paprika and evo. The consistency of the hummus itself was also very off, probably blended in the wrong way.

The brussel sprouts were harder than rocks. Barely cooked, full of garlic and, again, spicy as hell. I tried to accompany some of those with the hummus but I gave up after a couple of bites.

Food was good, yet certainly not exceptional. Orders got quite mixed up. Liked the spacious seating, and lower noise level. Quite pricey for that food, just like the rest of Stanford shopping center.

Brendan is truly remarkable—he goes above and beyond, making our dining experience exceptional. He was a brilliant waiter, attentive and professional. The food at True Food just keeps impressing me every time I visit. This time, we only had the cookie, and let me tell you—it was a gourmet masterpiece! The service is a perfect 10/10, the food is outstanding, and I love how clean and welcoming the restaurant is. If you are what you eat, I’m eating at True Food because I know I’m getting real, high-quality food here!

We showed up before 5:00 p.m. and nearly all tables were empty. We were told that there were no tables available to sit outside because they were all reserved. So we decided to get a takeout order and then no one took our order for several minutes. Despite standing right next to the cash register, no one told us when our order was ready. Super overpriced food. $26 a person for bowls.

Update 11/24/23: Really great follow up from the restaurant. The manager David and I connected via email and phone and he seemed genuinely interested in learning how they could improve. He was super nice and brought me back for a complimentary meal. I did dine-in instead of takeout and was impressed by the presentation of the food. Brussel sprouts were a bit salty and salmon a bit overcooked, but overall solid food. I will say there was a similar issue with the host being curt and hesitancy to seat us on the patio despite over half the tables being open. Server was friendly and provided good service!
