This place is a must visit if you love bread and happen to be in Palm Springs. Great sourdough. I also tried the breakfast loaf and the holiday loaf and they were great as well. What flavors! The breakfast loaf is more subtle while the holiday loaf with cranberries and nuts was a punch to the face—but in a good way! 🙂 This place is special and they also have freshly made pasta and granola and a bunch of other treats. Try it all. I loved it and so far have visited twice…..I’m sure I’ll be back!

This bakery and fabulous provisions store is the real deal. Mark bakes organic and nutritious bread in the spotless kitchen, while Kristin takes care of the local fans out front. The offerings have grown in variety and type while partnerships with local farms offer the best produce. We walked in for a loaf of sourdough and left with two loaves, some Earl Grey tea bread, a jar of mushroom and nut butter, some spicy condiment and a smile. As we got into our car to drive away, we looked at one another and said, “what a great local business they’ve built!”

Amazing service and delicious bread. I have not had better, probably ever in United States. Comparable to the best bread I had in Europe. Just incredible. I am from Santa Monica but plan on coming to visit at least every couple of months just for friendly owners and phenomenal sourdough. Thanks so much for all the delectable fare! Amazing!!!
Also, the crackers and Mushroom soup are scrumptious!
I love all the sourdough offerings, but the yeast breads are SO good as well! Vegan fougusse and sesame are divine!

Found this nice and warm bakery on Google Map. Its opening day was so little… only Thursday and Saturday. I believe their goal was not to earn money 🤣 When we arrived here, there was already a line. It let me more curious about this bakery.
The organic Epi Baguette was my favorite. Hard outside but soft inside, and with very nice smell. It was simple, but could feel the pure taste of wheat.
Holiday Sourdough was hard outside and soft inside as well. And with cranberries and pecans. The texture was really. But a little bit sour.
Spiced pumpkin bread was like pound cake in healthy version. Dry and fluffy; sweet and with cinnamon.

We are visiting Palm Springs and were looking for a loaf of sourdough to get us through Christmas. We're plant-based, so, can't have dairy or eggs. Lo and behold, we found Mark's place. He was tending shop while his wife and mom were in back. What an absolute pleasure to meet him! We ordered a loaf of his sandwich sourdough, a loaf of cornbread, a cinnamon raisin loaf, a blueberry muffin and a peanut butter cookie - I know that's a lot, but just want to show the breadth of skill here. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. We basically made a meal out of the cornbread. The sandwich sourdough is amazing - not too sour, fantastic crust and crumb. The blueberry muffin lasted a New York minute, it was fantastic. Same with the cookie. Wow. We wish we could leave 10 stars. Couldn't ask for a better bakery, much less a better baker. Thank you, Mark! We will be back! (we would've attached photos, but um, it's all gone).

This is an OUTSTANDING bakery, they make the kind of bread that is the stuff of legend. The crust on the sourdough round is spectacular, flavorful, crisp and chewy. And if that wasn’t enough, the West African Soup is phenomenal. It reminds me of the great days of super gourmet bread making in the 80s in Berkeley and Los Angeles. Truly outstanding.

Very pleasant people with fantastic products. The sourdough breads are incredible. You can tell how much Mark enjoys what he does by his smile when opening the door in the morning (see photo).
