I picked up a NY Strip Steak from their Evergreen farmers market location, and was not happy with the quality. Once the steak defrosted you could see there was hardly any intramuscular marbling(the kind you want for a juicy meat) to it. After pan searing and butter basting to finish, I pulled the steak at med-rare. It was a pretty tough steak, even at that internal temp, especially compared to what you can get locally for the same price. I gave two stars for the taste, as it wasn't that bad. No way am I buying any more from them though.

Edit: In response to BR Beef, I was never told of that option, or offered it. 1 star.

I own several Pho restaurants in the Bay Area and I use BR Beef as my meat supplier. We only use Purebred Charolais beef and the cows are organic and raised on an open field. The ranch owner and the team service is so friendly. I highly recommend Bianchi Ranches beef. Keep up the good works guys.

BR beef has never disappointed me and my family the meat is always so flavorful and fresh. I never ate beef elsewhere beside the grocery store but I wanted to try something new and it was totally worth it! Beside the fact of it being grass feed and grain finished, I love supporting a local family and their business!
