Such an absolute terrible experience. I have ordered from Grub Market before and had some issues with incomplete orders however they always made right. It’s been a couple years since my last order so I decided to try it again and my order was partially (only about 1/3 of what I ordered) delivered 6 days after it was supposed to be delivered. I had been communicating with customer support to gain details on when my order would arrive. To be clear, this was not an issue with the carrier. Grub Market did not create the shipping label until 3 days after my order was supposed to arrive. I believe they boxed my order up in time, but forgot about it and continued to ship the already packaged produce which resulted in my produce sitting in a box for over 6 days. Once it finally came every single item in my box was completely rotten. I noticed as the delivery driver came up the porch the box was leaking! I am so disappointed in how much money I spent on this order to have so many items missing, late and rotten.

Avoid This Company for Grocery Services!!!

I strongly advise against ordering groceries from this company due to their chaotic management and questionable business practices. I purchased $500 in gift cards, but after they ceased operations in Southern California, I faced a nightmare trying to get a refund for the remaining ~$200 balance.

Since the credit card I originally used was canceled, I requested a refund through PayPal or a check—any method they preferred. They ignored my requests for months, then astonishingly told me to contact their payment vendor directly, seemingly assuming I was unaware of my legal rights.

After asserting my rights, they finally agreed to review my case, only to claim that my gift cards had a zero balance. I was shocked by their shameless response, so I emailed them proof of my balance, including screenshots and past communications, and threatened to report them to the Better Business Bureau (BBB)—which I did.

Following my BBB complaint, their tone changed, and they eventually agreed to refund me.

This ordeal was unnecessarily stressful and highlights the company’s lack of integrity. I cannot recommend them to anyone.

My experience with Grubmarket has been terrible. It's like they have no idea how to run their operations. The produce is never fresh as advertised and I've received more rotten eggs than fresh ones. How do they manage that?

I loved the products and produce and now since 2022 and now 2023 they quality has gone way down. Produce is moldy or beaten up mushed up veggies. So now every order has issues now. Grapefruit comes out bitter and tasting past it’s due date and we’ll soft and squishy. All bad signs peppers come in dark and mushy and some with mold. Also they look like they produce has been in and out refrigeration too many times and we’ll the produce gets really beat up in the process now I have decided to just buy low cal and the day I will need the veggies since the quality they now offer isn’t worth it anymore

UPDATE!!! I placed my second order on April 8th for delivery today. They charged me that same day and never delivered today. I wrote to them three times and called with no response so they have my money and I have no food. Needless to say despite their produce being excellent I will never use them again. My advice go anywhere else but here!

my first order last evening and was so pleasantly surprised at the fresh and crisp produce. It's tasty and delicious. The produce here is the freshest I've received from any market. Just fabulous. I ordered a small amount to try them out but will be ordering much more. A couple of the grub boxes as well as many other items such as their bread and baked goods have me interested in trying more. I've decided that they will be my go to grocery providers each month from here on out. Definitely great products, service and prices plus they are located right here in San Francisco which is a huge plus for me. I'm so glad I found them.

Great customer service. These are organic and alive products so of course some will be less prefect and they do a great job responding to feedback about iitrms that aren’t fresh. I appreciate the service and the bypassing of big supermarkets !!! Thank you

The best fresh produce I’ve ever had! During the pandemic, I placed multiple orders here. And I have been very satisfied with their produce and services. Once I found the tomatoes too small and they issued me refund immediately after I contacted their customer service. Definitely recommend it to everyone!

I've been getting boxes of produce from Grubmarket for almost 3 years and I've been very happy. They offer good prices, high quality organic produce, and some unique organic food items that I can't get anywhere else. When there's been a mistake, customer service has responded quickly and given me a credit.
