So today is Dec 10,2024 between 2200-2300 and I have just picked up my load. The young lady that checked me in was very nice and polite. She wasn't great at giving directions, but i eventually found a spot to drop my trailer. Then it was time to leave with my loaded trailer. The man was extremely hostile and rude. He treated me like I was dog poop stuck on his shoe. I'll never come back there. I don't know if he treats all drivers like that or if it's because I'm a woman. I've been driving for over 25 years and your new man needs to get used to the idea that women drive trucks here in America. There's more freight to choose from to get me out of California. 99.9% of folks i deal with when I come to Cali are very friendly, but this guy isn't a Californian

I’ve been here 4x to pick up a load. I’ve actually left with a load twice. I’m here for drop n hooks only. The first two times, my load was ready so I picked it up and left. The last two times, my load wasn’t ready. The first time, I arrived around noon for a load that was supposed to be ready and was told it might not be ready until the next day so my company unplanned that load from me and sent me to another customer with a ready load. Today I arrived around 11am for a load that was supposed to be ready at 9am and was told after 2 hours of waiting it might be another 10 hours. I was again unplanned on this load and sent instead to a Home Depot warehouse near Stockton to pick up a load that was sitting there waiting for me when I arrived. I hate coming to this Domino Sugar place. 50% success with my loads here. As a company driver, we technically aren’t allowed to turn down loads… they would probably allow me to turn this down if I get planned to come here again.

The people at the guard shack up the hill are very nice. The guy in the shack where you check on your load less so.

The reviews don’t lie guys! Check in process around 2 hours , then I got a call to go to a door. So then I made 8 hours break in the door , wow! These guys are amazing , they let you reset your clock while they load you! 👍👍👍

The place is so nice , beautiful, outdated facility, dirt everywhere, construction, porta pottys ; you know proper decent facility which cares about drivers first , and other thing second! They care so much about their your rest , they don’t want you to drive right away, please sit in your truck and relax for 8 - 10 hours. You know driving in Bay Area is dangerous and a lot of traffic, so much stressful, they let you drive in 2-3 in the morning when whole Bay Area is sleeping and you may drive relaxes with your window open and breathe nice fresh California air.

Also employees are AMAZING 🤩, they definitely know what they are doing, very experienced and polite. They took another extra hour after I got a green light so I could rest more Wow, exceptional service , so much care about the driver , remember YOU are a number ONE priority at this facility!!! So, employees took another extra hour to take care of BOL, I appreciate that they are careful about their job , I guess they double checked everything so I won’t have issues delivering the load ! So much dedication, I truthfully respect that!

P. S. Please guys share your thoughts, do you think your pay, detention etc is worth to deal with such AMAZING facilities? 😌

The two guard check that was working on 12/10/24 are horrible at explaining and giving directions, first you can’t really hear her because she was texting and working on her phone while explaining at the same time. When I turned around and came back for the second time because she said I parked on the wrong side , and I told her I’m trying to understand her direction but she told me if I’m gonna keep doing that then she gonna tell me to leave .

Long waiting time here 8 hours to get loaded. 2 hours to wait in line to check in . This place is F... wish not to come again for other load . If u ready to spend 6 to 8 hours to load only come here or stay away from this warehouse. Security gaurd lady Tiya full of attitude. Doesn't know how to even talk to drivers . I wish manager or safty should read this & fix her attitude or stay home .

their powdered sugar is used to eat....generic for "practice"frosting

Guys follow these steps you will get into c h sugar truck route otherwise map will not guide you properly and you ll get stuck in small alleys

Take exit 27 i 80
Make left on Pomona st then another left on Wanda st and then from Wanda st make a left on dowrelio st and you will see guard check entrance .

Be very careful going there. Uphill tiny streets semi trucks not allowed.Hard to find.
The place is an old dump.U gonna wait for a long time to get loaded.
