This place truly is a gem it is definitely one of the best kept secrets in Oakland!!! If you got a sweet tooth this is the place to go! The nice lady that helped me was very friendly and courteous! I got peach cobbler, vannia ice cream and a lemon bar all of which were out of this world tasty!!! This place is a must go!!! Is it very small shop and it's takeout only. Definitely worth the trip!!

My daughter wanted to come here because she saw a YouTube video with the cakes and pies and wanted to try it out. It's easy to miss if you don't see the sign because you have to walk down some stairs in order to get inside. It is very small but impressive. They have different flavors such as New York style cheesecake, blueberry cheesecake, sweet potato pie, peach cobbler and other assortments of pies, cakes and cookies. They even have a lemon bars. You're not allowed to get the desert yourself. You have to tell the cashier what you want and they get it for you. They have forks and napkins provided. They take cash as well as card. And it smells real good inside as a desert restaurant should!

Fantastic desserts! This is not a walk in so make sure you order ahead but the food is delicious and it’s open very late. There are varieties of desserts and they’re all very tasty. It’s also ready for pickup almost immediately.

One day I order door dash from a spot and there was an add-on option to get a dessert. That place was Gregory’s and I wasn’t disappointed.
So I decided to double back and see what was really good.
The parking wasn’t to great but you can order online and just double park real quick. I placed a order online and it was ready in about 10min. Be aware when ordering online that the menu may not be current. When I got to the shop I added a couple extra items.
Some of my favorites are:
*key lime pie: flavor and crust were awesomeness.
*sweet Potatoe cake: tasted like a really good carrot cake minus the carrots(awesomeness)
*peach cobbler: awesomeness and I tried it cools without ice cream.
*cookies: they sell them in stacks of 3 and they are soft and delicious.

I ordered two slices of blueberry cheesecake and the cheese cake of the day (which I think was banana pudding?) and they were all amazing. I’m picky with dessert and tried this place from a video I saw and it did not disappoint. The crust is so good and not soggy at all, as many tend to be, and all the flavors together were delicious. Not going here would be doing your tastebuds a disservice. I live locally so I will be back!

We came here with time to kill and the lines don't lie! Cookies were 2.20 a piece and the key lime pie (which the man himself was giving samples of) blew me away!!! At 7.20, it was the best slice of pie I had in 2747586939 years! I'm so happy I stopped in

Saw a video this morning about the owner and came straight here. I had a bit of an ordering crisis because everything looked soooo yum. The coconut cream pie is unreal, and a super generous portion. Can’t wait to try everything else.

Nobody can say anything bad about Gregory's. Read the company history on their website, it's really interesting. It's small, it's underground, and only a few people can go in at a time so there may be a wait but everything there is worth it. Favorites: key lime pie & lemon bars. Also be sure to check their hours and days open before you go. It's not the standard.
