I'm leaving a 1 star review due to the lack of professionalism at this location.

I bought a bike a 10am. Email clearly stated 1 hrs to assemble bike.

Get a call saying it will be a day or two.... so after Christmas.

Then 3 hrs later I get a email saying your ready for pick up.

It was in fact not ready.

The email also showed that I already verified my ID with online check in and did not need to show my ID again. But of course that was wrong to ask the person helping insisted I needed to show my ID.

I will not shop with Dicks sporting good ever again.

Was there this afternoon. 2-7-25. Their selection was horrible for cleats and baseball and softball gear. The employees helping at the fitting rooms ( one guy with dark hair and a girl with long dark hair) was very rude about having to let us in to use the rooms. They said can you stop pushing the button to use the fitting room bc that buzzes in our ear. Sorry , but we have things we wanted to try out. We finally gave up and went to Bases loaded in Rancho Cordova.

My experience was pretty great, I asked an employee if they had any bruce bolt batting gloves and he said they don’t sell them even though i’ve previously seen them before and have them listed on their website.

I was able to purchase kayak on a decent sale price. The free weights are reasonably priced, and so are some of the other exercise equipment. The store is always clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. The majority of clothes seem to be Under Armour, and so the clothes are expensive compared to other brands and stores.

Staff was great, however I went online to verify if they had any Bruce Bolt batting gloves in stock at this location. Online said yes, they had several to choose from so I made the drive just to find out in fact the do NOT have any in stock at any of there locations in the Sacramento area.

No worries, but a waste of time/fuel.

Awesome customer service from Allison! We had an exchange of a tackle box and when we couldn’t find what we were looking for she checked other stores, suggested we order from the store and got free shipping. She went above and beyond, great employee!

OMG! This is a big store! It has everything you need plus more. Then only place you need to go for all sports and camping I'm just amazed! They have EVERYTHING! Great attitudes and wonderful service!
