Went in last night as I needed homemade corn tortillas and this place was the only place open that actually made their own.

It was busy as I guess everyone was picking up their traditional Rosca de Reyes (King's Wreath) you know the one that hides the baby Jesus in it... whomever cuts the slice that has the baby in it must hold a party for the neighborhood - Día de la Candelaria, or Candlemas, on February 2.

BTW the place smelled like bakery heaven inside. FYI the parking lot was dark last night.

I went to this Cardenas market and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. This market is huge, clean, and very well organized. They offer a wide variety of goods for grocery shopping, making it a one-stop shop for all your needs.
What sets this market apart is the range of additional services they provide. There is a restaurant inside, a well-stocked meat market, and even a tortilla factory, all of which add to the convenience and appeal of shopping here. The quality of goods is outstanding, ensuring that you get the best products available.
One of the highlights is the abundance of self-checkouts, which makes the shopping process quick and efficient. However, my only issue was with the employee overseeing the self-checkout area. She seemed to be in a bad mood, which slightly dampened the experience.
Overall, it was a great visit, and I highly recommend this market for its excellent variety and quality, despite the minor inconvenience with the cashier.

I have been too many Cardenas, grocery stores, and this one in particular is cleaner than the other ones that I have been to. This one is on fourth Street and Vineyard and I must say it is kept way cleaner than the other stores that I have gone to.

I whent to cardenas usually thats where i buy all my groseries untill now 😟i bought a bar of peper jack chesse yesterday and to my suprise this morning when i was about to make my breackfast i took my chesse out of the fridge and it had a hole corner green moldy it was disgusting i think my humble opinion they ahould have more control over cualaty control someone could get rreally sick from this.

I went to the meat area and the first thing I see is this older man purposely ignore African American customers . When he helped me I asked for cheese and he used the same gloves he has just used to grab pork ! Never coming here again. I’ve complained before and that same employee remains there it’s so gross

I always go to Cardenas for lunch and it’s always the same thing. Bad customer service in kitchen area. Needs attention urgently!!!! And it’s not only at this location, it happens in all locations I go. They ignore you. They don’t understand the difference between half pound and one pound. They make me feel like I’m putting them in trouble.

The store is always immaculately merchandised and incredibly clean. The product assortment is terrific and the associates are very efficient. I had the pleasure of meeting the store manager Gabriela and upon interacting with her it is clear why the stores operates at such a high standard. Great job Gabriela!!

Typical Cardenas market. Smells amazing in the morning because of the bakery. But also typical customer service of these type of places like northgate and cardenas and super. Plan to be there a while if there is a line. They operate at dmv speed
