This jerky is a HUGE disappointment! I was expecting the great jerky you get from local liquor stores - that homemade jerky. The texture of this is chewy moist and thick, like the kind you get at grocery store chains. I won’t but this rubbery jerky ever again, I had much higher expectations.

The beef jerky is legendary, people travel from miles around to get it❗️
Excellent steaks, try tip, and miscellaneous items available at this awesome old school butcher shop .
Jerky is hand cut and cooked right on premise.
Ojai jerky and the butcher shop is located inside the “corner store.”
Which has one of the best hand crafted ale selections I’ve seen. ? i’m giving it a five mug award for all the choices available in bottles and cans.❗️
The “corner store “ also has anything you’ll need if you’re planning on headed up to the lake casitas , just a few minutes away up the road . Sundries , barbecue , picnic, and camping supplies . Don’t forget to check out the fishing tackle section for the professional anglers
Oh I also need to need to mention the awesome Deli Sandwiches they serve .
