We had a fabulous Food and Mural tour led by Kevin. We sampled food at fine eateries, ending with incredible treats at Ginger Elizabeth! As great atls the food was, my favorite part was viewing and hearing all about the Sacramento murals. Kevin was very knowledgeable and fun!

Short Version: All of the food was delicious. We had more than we could eat. Our guide was super knowledgeable. We saw lots of cool murals.

I went on the Midtown Tour with Dawnie with 2 of my friends. The group in total had 9 people counting us. Dawnie was super knowledgeable history, food, Sacramento, and the intersection of the three.

On the tour we visited 5 different locations. The first was Azul where we had one taco al pastor, hibiscus aqua fresca, and chips and salsa. The second was Pachamama Coffee for a coffee drink or hot chocolate of our choice. The third was Thai Basil where we had pad Thai, spring rolls, and spicy fried artichokes. Everyone really loved the artichokes. At that point all of us were feeling stuffed and we still had food leftover on the table. Fourth was the Golden Bear for an acholic drink of your choice and a slice of pizza. Mocktails were available for those that didn't want or just don't drink alcohol. Both the pizza and drinks were fantastic. Finally we ended at Ginger Elizabeth for an ice cream macaroon.

In between locations, we saw many of the murals in the Midtown area, some of which were a lot more hidden than others.

The tour was fantastic, I got more than my money's worth, and if you are thinking about doing it I would highly encourage to.

We had a wonderful time on this tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Sacramento, the art around town, and the local food. Hey love for the city and it's culinary history were evident throughout. We will definitely do another tour next time!

This exceeded expectations. We did the food tour in Sacramento. The tour guide was well versed in both food knowledge and history of the area. We left stuffed and satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the food and the quality of the tour. I would highly recommend this not just to visitors, but even locals. My out of town Dad learned a lot, but so did I, as a local.

We had such a fun time on our downtown food tour. Our guide knew so much about the local food scene and Sac's history. All the stops were delicious and places we have never been to or would have found on our own. We learned a ton, ate good food and had fun. Thank you, we will be back for another tour 🙂

We originally booked the Downtown tour but pivoted to the Midtown tour. Such a great time! My fiance and I are both vegetarian and Dawnie did an incredible job of accommodating us. She went out of her way to find options for us and suggest other restaurants for us to stop at that would have good menus for our dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!

I have done both the Downtown and the Midtown tour with this company. I enjoyed the tours very much. The organizer is a very knowledgeable person who has a Master degree in food science. The Downtown tour consists in 5 different stops, 2 stops for appetizers, one for main dish, one for coffee and one for desert. Besides very good food we also visited downtown and learned a lot about the city. The Midtown tour also has 5 stops for appetizer, than coffee, tapas, pizza and then desert. Besides food we visited the murals in Midtown and learned a lot about Sacramento.

Went on the Midtown tour and it was amazing! Kevin was our guide and he provided incredible knowledge and history of the city and neighborhood. All the food options were delicious. We were lucky enough that it was just my group on this tour and it made the whole experience even better. Having been born and raised in the Bay Area I was pleasantly surprised to learn so much about the rich history of our state's capital. Absolutely would recommend to out of state visitors and locals alike.
