I stopped by DD’s at the Barbara Morrison 2nd annual Jazz & Blues festival, asked about their product & they delivered. The price was great, Catfish perfect and not like Shabazz with overly battered product to mask small portions and cooked so hard I threw it away. Plus only offering only 2 options $25 or $30 and no choice of what and they don’ t have Catfish at $25 .I will go to DD’s restaurant, love their product.

Ok, so I was googling best chicken in Pomona and literally stumbled across DD’s. I remember growing up in Pomona and going to southern fried chicken and fried fish spots locally. These places seemed to disappear as I grew older so when I stumbled across DD’s I was compelled to give ‘em a try. As I was waiting with my son for our order DD himself came around and my man has great southern hospitality, something missed in society these days. This man has his kids teamed up and cooking with him which awesome. His welcoming heart and love for his food shines through in his food for sure. If you’re craving some fried fish and chicken come on by and give ‘em a try. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!!

Best chicken ever and loved the Cajun fries and hush puppies. I got a shrimp and chicken box to go. Loved the Dirty Tea it’s so sweet and good. Homemade drinks are the best. Prices are good too. Met the owners and really down to earth.

Well seasoned and sauces were great.The only thing was I ordered wings and fries combo. It was supposed to be fries Nd hushpuppies. The were great. But I only got 2?. So I'll give it a 4.99 rating..All in all , Recommend it...
Update.. I didnt read on the menu that only 2 hushpuppies came with the order.. ?

Maaaaan when I say this is the best catfish and shrimp in Pomona that is NOT an exaggeration! My husband and I saw this place on a Facebook food group page and wanted to check it out and we surely weren’t disappointed. The shrimp was fried to perfection and the batter they use is phenomenal! My husband got the catfish plate for $9.99 it came with fries, hush puppies, jazzy slaw and a drink (he chose Swamp Water). Boy oh boy was it great! I typically am not a big fan of fried catfish because of the batter used, but that isn’t the case anymore! They definitely know what they’re doing! I had the shrimp plate for $10.99. It came with everything mentioned above and I chose the Cherry Lemonade. Both drinks are pure fire!!! This will definitely be our spot. We met the owner DD who told us the meal was cooked by his 19 year old son!!! Now that’s crazy! These folks definitely know what they’re doing. Please check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

I am from New Orleans, LA with a long heritage there. I believe I am a good judge of southern foods. We had a catfish plate and collard greens on the side. I could tell the catfish was fresh and fried in new oil. It wasn’t greasy and was perfectly seasoned. I loved the Jazzy DDs sauce and the Dirty Tea was a very sweet treat. The collard greens were also wonderfully seasoned and had the taste of being fully cleaned and cooked down well; the turkey in the greens were a nice touch. Though the location was unconventional, this did not take away from an amazing and unexpected food experience in Pomona. It was a great pickup after a hard day!

Came here for the first time. Ordered the catfish dinner box and a snapper po'boy sandwich. The catfish was really good and fresh. Fries were great too. Snapper po'boy was just as good the slaw in it was nice with great flavor. Also had the dirty tea and the cherry lemonade and really liked the flavor, unique and good. Also had a sample of the rib tips. The flavor was spot on without sauce. They were out of peach cobbler when i got there. Can't wait to get back here to work through the menu. Liked that i ordered at the window and it was taking about 20 minutes to get my order, lets me know they are making it fresh. Will phone my order in next time
