Good beer and great place to chill. This is one of my favorite spots when traveling through Chico. I’m an IPA guy and not completely satisfied with their options. A bit of an old school IPA taste. That said, I think their strength is German style beers. I once had an amazing altbier. The wife enjoys their kolsch. I still highly recommend this spot. I’d take it over Sierra Nevada should I have to make a choice.

Great stop in Chico, the patio is shady and well spaced. The beer is solid, with their Hazies and Kettle Sours leading the pack I think. But they do have porter and Stout options as well if that's your jam. The owner was there when we came by and she was super friendly, the other beertenders were great as well. I'd definitely go back.

Love this brewery everyone is always super nice, I feel like a local although i just moved to chico a few months ago. Beer is good and so is the vibe but it would be nice to see more double IPA's added to the menu.

Great place to go have a drink and some food at the end of a long day. You should definitely look over their web page to see what food trucks, activities, live bands or events are going on during the week/weekend. Their staff is always incredibly nice and helpful when recommending drinks. My personal favorite is their Baltic Porter, and if you like peanut butter they have a version of that one too.

There's always some surprises with there seasonal brews. They generally try and keep something on tap for everyone, sour, seltzer, darker beer, lighter, IPA's etc. Be sure to try thier flights if you're not sure what you are in the mood for.

Secret Trail is a local brewery in Chico, California. They are located in the industrial section of Chico, south of town. This area is safe to visit. The parking is limited so you may have to park on the street. My husband loves beer and enjoys the new recipes often available.

They have limited indoor seating (air conditioned/heated) but plenty of outdoor seating. They are dog friendly. There is a schedule of food trucks that service the brewery. We've enjoyed the food and music here. They added an outdoor stage and now have live music. Fun place to be on a Friday night.

Chico is a college town, but this location caters to all. The music entertainment may drive the clientele. For example, there was a band playing 60's music and the clientele mainly had gray hair. Food and drink was great! Music was great (not too loud) and the patio was a nicely cool on a warm spring night

Good selection of craft beer. No restaurant other than a hit or miss food truck. Lots of cool events. Parking is sometimes a bit impacted. I'm giving 5 stars mainly for the sake the beer is really good, service is great, and I like the location, which is on the skirts of town in an industrial area of Chico. Most recently, I was offered beer at 50% just because the beer getting a little old or they had fresher beer ready to go. The discounted beer tasted fine and it left me loving this place all the more.

After almost five years, Charlie and his excellent team have yet to brew a bad beer. Good variety of styles, friendly staff, nice variety of food trucks throughout the week. And when Charlie’s daughter hits the stage with her guitar, you can’t beat it. Secret Trail has positioned itself as a local staple here in Chico.

One of my my favorite spots to grab a beer in Chico. Love supporting a local brewery that always has great beers on draft. Be sure to stop in now that they are open 7 days a week and a food truck most nights. If that's not your jam, bring your own food! Dog & kiddo friendly ❤️ Live music on Sundays. Happy drinking.
