this is a review for the Jajangmyun - Ja Jang Myun / Cham Pong restaurant to the left side of the supermarket. I wasn't going to get some , but I kept seeing older korean people slurping their noodles down with joy and ferocity.
And When I see old school korean people chowing down... I know it's legit.

And BOY was it.

Cham Pong - the spicy seafood noodle soup.
Flavor ON POINT.
Broth, spicy and cool.
Seafood yummy
I didnt eat one unopened mussel
Noodles (ok, not hand made noodles) but cooked right to aldente.

Jajang Myun - Smoky, tasty so good.

If you are looking for one of the BEST jajangmyun in the area outside of LA. This is someplace, I would take my 84 year old father when he visits SoCal.

Its hard to find Good Jajang myun and Cham pong at sit down restaurants, but this place is legit.

Amazing place if you've never been here. So many different kinds of foods and items that you won't find in a normal US store or even other non- Korean Asian markets. Highly recommended if you want a nice visual and gastronomic selection to take home.

Market world is off the 60 Lemon, kinda near the 60E and 57 meets. I thought it was a Chinese market, I was in need of wonton noodles so I decided to give this place a try. It’s actually a Korean market geared towards Asians; I say this because I did find wonton noodles but not near the noodle section at all it was closer to the tofu section. Prices are reasonable ton of ramen, noodles, rice, 3 restaurants, a bakery and 2 smaller stores that sell ready to eat foods such as; Kimchi, Kimbap, Bibimbap, scallion pancake, anchovy’s, fried fish and banchan – Korean small side dishes! It’s convenient, they are missing 1.5 stars because the meat section lacked quantity and quality.

When I went there during the hot summer, there were times when the frozen food was thawed, possibly because the freezer was broken. Recently, I bought dried pollock that cost almost $20, and when I got home, I found it was moldy. It's best not to buy food here that are meant for long storage.

I purchased the tofu stew kit here when they had the lady actually cook the tofu soup and had us taste it. I left the package in the fridge for a week and opened the package today to make it and the broth had chunks of mold.
Expiration date is 9 days away.
I called explaining the situation and the lady over the phone was extremely rude. Not even a word of apology but instead raising her voice at me saying theres nothing they could do without a receipt. I asked her if she remembers having her employee at the stand to give out samples of the tofu. She yes a week ago. I said there you go I bought it a week ago. She sighed and passed the phone over to someone else.
It seems they expect us to open the packages immediately and inspect it for molds before tossing the receipt away.
Very BAD customer service. What makes me mad is their attitude towards this. I dont want the $5 back, I wanted them to be aware of the products they were selling. But with their lame attitude they just lost a customer.

This is the best market around here.
Both the meat and vegetables are fresh and varied.
I also recommend the side dish shop and bakery inside the market.

I had a fun time here. Lots of different food. I didn't see any mold or dirt. The tea box was a bit dusty but the tea itself was great. The people here were pretty friendly.
