So I'll start with the goods. It's nice to see the vendors out and the community getting together. Being able to purchase homemade items and eating food that's rarely available.

However, it is an extreme nuisance. It impedes my commute every Friday and is extremely unsafe. The amount of crowds that just wander through the street without paying attention is a serious cause for concern. There is also the amount of vehicles that park along the roadway and make it impossible to see when pulling out to prevent incidents. You're so focused on not hitting another vehicle that sometimes a pedestrian will sneak up on you. I hear every year of someone having a "close call".

Almost everyone I work with has had the same concerns and annoyances. Why can't this be done in a park or a location that doesn't impede traffic or cause safety concerns? Maybe at the fairgrounds? In all honesty, I don't really care as long as it's somewhere else.
