Del apt 10:00, cked in 9:04,ppwk in hand 10:45, good people. Very tight docks but I had 2 open docks to back into so no problem. Could prob park 5-6 trucks on streets. No parking at customer.

I've lived in San Jose for about 65 years. In the old days Silva had a food stand at the Santa Clara County fair, now long gone. As a Event Program seller, (I was 13 at the time) The Silva booth offered me a taste of Linguica. I had no idea what it was. My family is German. I loved it it! it wasn't the usual German ; "Wursts, but was very good!!!!!
I tired others, including Netos. Netos use to be very good but no more. I'm certain they are no longer a local company. I buy Silvas where I find it. It is so much better than then the others. Hopefully they do not go the way of other meat processors. Netos, Victor meats of Lodi. Victor Meats had the best bacon!!!!!!
This is now the 2000's and apparently price is more important than quality so cheaper is more important than quality.

I purchased a pack of Silva's andouille sausages from Cash N Carry in San Lorenzo, CA. The reason for the purchase was GUMBO. I needed a good andouille for my Christmas gumbo and I decided to give Silva's a try. It was flavorful. Very meaty. Nice lil kick but Silva's andouille does not taste like andouille, at all. If you are specifically looking for the andouille taste, do yourself a favor and pass on Silva's andouille. Overall, Silva's Andouille sausage is a decent sausage but it ain't an andouille.
