We had such an amazing experience here! We love sour beers and this place by far has the best selections of sour beers. Pretty extensive too about 15 or so. We came on a Sunday night with our baby and the taco truck was a good choice for small bites. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. There was a local artisan there selling some stuff. The parking at the front seemed limited but I did see a different parking lot across from the building.

I'm a regular visitor, live in the neighborhood. There's something about this brewing, it has its own charm. They have sour and regular beers. Two separate warehouses. I prefer regular and there are lots to choose from. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday they have food track till 8 pm and live music on weekends. The atmosphere and people are very nice here. It feels like a family:). I recommend visiting this place on the weekend evening.

Located in industrial area of La Mesa, this brick walled rustic microbrewery got a nice set up. There are two buildings sandwiching their outdoor patio area. Dog friendly space where you see many families with their pooches. They have many different type of beers but their sours standout the most. Good service, great ambiance. One way street but never had any issue with the parking.

Nice vibe, great selection of their beer. Optical Haze 7.0% ABV was pretty decent. Came out for live music by #realitysession and nice find in the industrial area. No food but food truck had a huge selection.

Tasty beer, good music and a beautiful outdoor patio. I’ll definitely swing by next time to try the sour half of this brewery. Extra points for being dog-friendly!

Came here on a late weekday afternoon to try out some beers. Love that there’s the option to have both ciders and beers! There’s lots of room both inside and outside options. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and help you pick out the beer for you! Only thing that would make it better would be food but this is definitely a great local gem to meet friends and have some drinks!

Another really cool plus for Helix Brewery is that every Friday and Saturday evening they have local musicians from 6 to 9. Some of the bands are really good. Kids, dogs, families and friends.... just a super nice vibe.

Great selection of beer with indoor and outdoor seating. Food truck was out front the day we went serving polish food plus a tamale guy came by and blessed our session even more. Good music playing and kid and dog friendly. A must go!
