It's a swanky bar everything is updated and really nice inside. The outside location is on the sketchier side, but if you don't wander around, you'll be okay. I'd recommend calling your Uber while inside and waiting. Awesome vibe here!

Great venue… warehouse retro rave vibes… saw a couple of dark wave bands here.. great bartenders…always had a blast here 🔥🧛‍♂️🔥

The space was big enough for a decent size pit/circle and the sound was LOUD and well mixed. The lights were also pretty great filling the warehouse space with intense colors. The pit was a bit rough, but never concerning -- security intervened once. Also, it's in the warehouse district.

They didn't have water out, so you'll have to ask a bartender -- there are two bars one on the floor and one around a corner near the merch.

One oddity, bands kept asking for monitor updates -- so while it sounded good on the floor, it seems like that wasn't consistently the case for the stage.

Overall a good venue, had a great time. 🤘✌️

Club 1720. With both an amazing sound system and elevated stage, Downtown L.A.’s foremost club and music venue can be found at 1720, located at 1720 E. 16th St., Los Angeles, CA 90021.  From audial and sensory experiences ranging from their established dance/rave shows lasting into the late hours of the night, to the more extreme side of heavy rock and metal performances, 1720 accommodates it all eloquently.  Located near Downtown L.A.’s fashion district, 1720 is a former garment factory transformed into L.A.’s pre-eminent concert and clubbing locale, which has already garnered a reputation for being the destination for some of today’s top rap, dj, punk, and metal artists.  Pair this with 2 bars serving amazing cocktails and drink specials, and you now have your celebration destination for any night of the week.

Cool place. Bathroom sucks. The shitter is out in the middle of the floor. No TP for butt wipey. Vomit on the toilet already, daddy’s spaghetti. Go poop before you arrive. Sketchy area. Your car will get broken into. Awesome metal shows. Meet your favorite bands and buy their dope merch. Hot dog stand afterwards on the corner.

Cool venue located close to home the only thing is the sound quality needs an upgrade the place is cool but not when the show gets sold out it gets crowded to the point where walking through is annoying it gets hot fast definitely needs air flow. The staff is cool and helpful especially the security very nice people definitely makes you feel safe when coming here. The only issue is parking and the areas sketchy surrounded by homeless encampments and RVs your best bet to come to this venue is by Uber or Lyft and just park your car elsewhere else overall this venue is pretty much like home to me

The premises are good for small live performances, such as heavy metal concerts. Despite the way the restroom area looks, they're kept somewhat clean. There's a smoking area, as well. The only negative remark I would say is the lack of parking availability in an area which is not safe at all.

Pretty good venue. Good sound. Could have used some chairs to down on between bands. Also slightly annoying that you can’t go outside, but it is a sketchy neighborhood. We drove there and parked close and there were no issues. The bands were great!
