Love 168 for the extra items that are only found here but not in other groceries store. Especially snacks, teas, sauces and even instant noodles options. The shop is clean and organized. Feels great shopping here. The weekend special sales booths are nice too to try new things and great promotion price.

Terrible company! You choose products to get promotional offers! But does not include service! What’s the point! Usually when you buy fish you clean it up, but you choose to discount and add $1per LB to help clean the fish? So it‘s cheating consumers?

Always plenty of parking. They’ve cleaned up a bit. Ice cream section is always fun to look at. The seafood section workers are extremely slow and lazy, but it is what it is, at least they’re giving the elderly a chance to work. We come here out of convenience.

Normally I love 168 market, but I felt very othered in this one. It first started when I was in checkout and a customer behind me was talking to the cashier about my items (I cannot understand the language but the body language and pointing made it obvious) and they laughed. I can only assume it's because I had mostly instant and hot food, but I will never know what they said
The cashier seemed to be repeating something and I only understood the word "bag" and not anything else, and given how she was just chatting with the customer behind me and also not looking at me, plus I didnt understand her, I didnt reply.
She eventually turns to me and angrily asks if I want a bag, which I felt bad about because I realized then that she might have been asking me if I wanted a bag the whole time and I didn't realize so I reply with "sorry, yes please" and she basically threw it/flung it at me. I that point gave a little look to the person I came with to see if they saw what happened, and she proceeded to be nice and say something along the lines of thank you, have a nice day

I returned a day after to accompany someone else and got the same cashier, I asked her if my 168 card was okay to scan as some of the barcode had rubbed off, and instead of reaching for the card, she very quickly pulled my whole hand and almost twisted my wrist, it honestly hurt a bit but mostly surprised me
I like to believe the best in people and hope it was a misunderstanding, but it was a bit much. It left me feeling not welcomed by her

I have never had issues with the one in walnut. This experience makes me appreciate the employees there a lot more

Pretty cool Asian market here in Alhambra.

Usually go to '99 Ranch Market' down the street. However after having lunch at 101 Noodle Express which is literally right across the street, we decided to check it out and to our surprise they had exactly what we needed.
Full service meat and seafood departments. Large produce section, refrigerated sections, rice, noodles, and the list goes on.
Quite the alternative to the other said grocery store.

They pretty much have everything in your Chinese grocery needs and they even have a deli where you can get roasted duck and other fine BBQ delicacies.

Store was organized, clean, and great service. Our meat clerk (young Latino man with mustache) and checker (Chinese lady) were both friendly and accommodating.

Will be back to check out the rest of the store next time we're in the area.
