At it's most lively during live music days, which they will post to their instagram. They serve beer, wine, and a few non-alcoholic options. Parking nearby is a bit of a hassle, but well worth the effort. The place is small so some events will be standing room only. Can't think of another place that hosts the gamut of music that they do, LA is lucky to have it!

1642 is a hidden gem! They offer a small yet fantastic selection of wine, beer and they also have non-alcoholic menu. The intimate ambiance with soft candlelight sets the perfect mood.

Just be aware, it's a bit small and can get crowded, especially during live music events. No air conditioning, so it can get warm, so drink up. Limited parking means you might need to find a spot nearby. The two restrooms might get busy when it's crowded, so plan your restroom visits wisely.

Cozy bar with great atmosphere and live music. Can’t really ask for more. Love this place, will definitely come back when I visit again
